I've not really made any resolutions this year because usually they are broken by the 2nd January! Like last year when I decided to give up junk food. That lasted all of ten minutes when my mum brought out the box of chocolates. Oh and the time I decided to join a gym. After the induction me and my aching legs never went back. You've got to really admire that willpower lol!
It's going to be a busy year though what with my sister's wedding. I'm still not sure how I ended up planning the whole thing lol. But then again, I did volunteer. I must have got carried away with the excitement or something. Or maybe it was the celebratory drinks when she announced her engagement.....knowing me, that was probably it :D And I am the maid of honour which I am really excited about.
Now I have to think about getting prepared for work tomorrow. After two weeks away, I really can't be bothered. Santa could have brought me that winning lottery ticket or something. The bugger!
And what do you know? I actually updated this thing without a survey in sight. I wonder how long that will last.

My laptop died and the insurance people are taking their damn sweet time to fix it. I can get it fixed locally within 24 hours but apparently that will invalidate my policy. So now I am stuck waiting and in the meantime have the joy of using my old ancient desktop. I'm also stuck with Windows 98 but hey, at least I can get online.
Oh and if my tickets for the RAW show on November 8th don't show up soon, I am offically going to panic. It's only two weeks away. I've had the tickets for the other show for months! |

My sister just called me. She's pregnant again - and I'm so pleased for her.
We kind of had an inkling at the weekend she might be. She had put on a little weight and she handn't been feeling so hot. But we were all surprised to find out she is five months gone!! She looks nothing like five months pregnant - and this is her fourth child!!!
Which makes us think it's a girl - she was huge at 5 months when she was expecting Jay. But hey, who cares? As long as the baby is healthy, I don't care if I get another little niece or nephew.
This baby will make seven so far lol!!
Plus another bonus to this is I can maybe steal Jay all for myself now. He's just eighteen months and I'm in love with him lol. She'll have another little one to occupy her. She'll never notice ;)
I'm off to celebrate now!! |

I finally got my copy of No Way Out 2000 today after my third attempt at bidding. At last I can watch a quality copy of that HIAC match. I've been searching for forever for a decent download but can never find one.

I HATE AOL!! Damn modem keeps kicking me offline and telling me there is a network cable unplugged. Em, no it's not and I should know coz I've checked it hundreds of times *kicks modem*
So I call technical support who tell me I need to update my drivers and the problem will be fixed.
I update my drivers and guess what? Yep, it's still happening. I gave up calling them again last night because I didn't fancy being on hold for another hour. Assholes.
Better news though - my nephew, Jay came through his operation unscathed. It wasn't serious (a little plastic surgery) but I'm glad it's over. He's a little trooper. Poor wee thing is in hospital until Monday though so I'll have to visit over the weekend and spoil him :) I do feel sorry for my sister though. Kerry is staying with him (he's only one - she doesn't want to leave him) but when she comes home, she'll have seven little puppies to contend with too. Their dog gave birth last night lol. |

So it looks like I've pissed someone off and I've not got a single clue why.
And I don't know why I'm letting it bother me so much but for some reason it does.
I mean, we're all supposed to be adults, right?
If someone has a problem with me, why the hell can't we act mature about it and try and sort our issues out instead of being petty and stupid?
Maybe I'm being too sensitive and taking it too much to heart but I can't help it. That's who I am.
But sometimes I wish I didn't give a damn and then I wouldn't get so upset when things like this happen.
It just makes you wonder if any of it is worth it. |

Every year its the same and every year I can never figure it out!!
Why do the Christmas tree lights always end up not working????
They were working perfectly fine when I put them in the box last year. I even rolled them up nice and neatly. I take them out this year only to find they are in a tangled mess and when I eventually untangle them and get them on the tree, they don't work!!!!! *snarl
So I take them off the tree and test every bulb and guess what? Yep - it's the very last one I check. One little twist and hooray - they finally work!!
I swear I'm going to invest in a fibre optic one next year.
Anyway, now that I'm traumatised I'm off to have a drink - my tree is up and I'm starting the celebrations early!!!! |

Overall, I've been naughty (-174 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!
